Phil is a photographer and artist with over 10 years of experience working both locally and beyond. His reputation as an easy to work with, detail-oriented, passionate photographer who delivers high-quality imagery within a reasonable time frame has earned him work with a variety of people and organizations over his career, many of whom are repeat clients.
A practitioner of multiple genres, Phil isn’t relegated to one lane. He has spent the last decade working for architects such as GBBN, MA Design, Luminaut, and Hub+Weber among others. Additionally, he is a seasoned event photographer who regularly works with the Cincinnati Art Museum, Taft Museum of Art, ArtWorks, Cincinnati Music Hall, and was formerly the show photographer for the Longworth Anderson Series at Memorial Hall. He’s also spent years working with construction companies and developers such as Model Group, Rookwood Properties, Orleans Development, and 8K Construction to develop quality imagery of their projects and properties.
Outside of Cincinnati, he’s worked for national organizations such as SITES (Smithsonian), Congress For New Urbanism, and the National Trust for Historic Preservation based in Washington D.C. He’s also done photography for international artists such as Shahzia Sikander, and museums outside of Cincinnati such as the Science Museum of Minnesota and the Cleveland Museum of Art.
Phil was the former managing editor and a writer/photographer for the lifestyle and culture website Cincinnati Refined through Local 12 WKRC from 2016-2021.
He’s worked on set with other local photographers on popular brands owned by a Fortune 500 company based in Cincinnati, and has served as the retoucher on several of those same brands.
He lives with Ashley, his wife, and Myrtle, his dog, across the river from Cincinnati in the little river city of Bellevue, KY.
